Christmas Day 2010

Today is Christmas.

It has meant many things over my past 49 experiences with the day. It has been a day of happiness, a day of anticipation, and almost always a day for family.

This one has to be one of the sadder ones. No boys at home. None coming home. Christmas eve in Bryan was very poor. Sisters were there, but no big evening meal, no gift giving after dark. And probably one of the most quiet Christmases ever spent. Not one single Christmas carol played or sang. All in all.... not a very memorable holiday so far. Perhaps I can turn it around some how.

In the mean time.... I hope you can find a reason or two to smile and enjoy the day and season.
