Empty

 

Yesterday and today have been difficult..... Monday and Tuesday were a little challenging, but yesterday and today were far worse.  The freshmen arrived on Thursday and everyone was there today. I wasn't.  I was absent. And... It won't be changing in the foreseeable future.   Empty......  I am very empty....  No students, no lesson plans, no web site adjustments....   Empty. 

I am grateful that others around me have been really aware that I am struggling with it, but...   I have to grieve the role that I no longer have.
